Febrile Seizures
Fever-triggered seizures are the most common childhood neurological event. Most are benign - but knowing when to worry and what to do is vital for every parent.

“Febrile seizures occur in 2–5% of children aged 6 months to 5 years during a fever episode. They are usually brief, generalized, and self-limiting. Simple febrile seizures do not cause brain damage or epilepsy in the vast majority of children. At Dr. Rampally's Kurnool child neurocare centre, we evaluate the child, assess recurrence risk, counsel families on first-aid, and decide whether EEG or further workup is needed.”
