Will my child need sedation?
For routine 30-minute EEGs, we encourage natural sleep or quiet rest. Mild sleep syrup is only given if the child is extremely restless.
How long does it take?
The actual brainwave recording takes about 20 to 30 minutes. The entire appointment takes around 45 minutes.
When will reports be ready?
The routine EEG report is available within 1 hour after the test is completed.
